Alcohol-free festive period at all beaches and beachside parks

Alcohol restrictions will be in place this summer at all beaches and beachside parks and reserves in Randwick City to ensure community safety and provide a family-friendly festive period for everyone.
The alcohol ban will be in place from 8pm on Thursday 23 December 2021 until 6am Tuesday 4 January 2022, and from 8pm Tuesday 25 January 2022 until 6am Thursday 27 January 2022.
Alcohol is prohibited on all Randwick City beaches and many beachside reserves (more information here). In addition, a temporary ban will extend to the following coastal reserves during the times and dates mentioned above:
- Bundock Park - Clovelly
- Jack Vanny Reserve - Maroubra
- Arthur Byrne Reserve - Maroubra
- Cromwell Park - Malabar
- Yarra Bay Bicentennial Park - Phillip Bay
- Gwea Reserve -Yarra Bay
The temporary restrictions will be enforced by Eastern Beaches Area Command.
