Community Race Day

Randwick City Council and the Australian Turf Club have partnered up once again to host the annual Community Race Day at Royal Randwick Racecourse on Saturday 7 July from 11am.

With free entry for Randwick residents and ratepayers, this family-friendly event will feature a nine race line-up including the Randwick Mayor’s Cup, as well as a host of free children’s activities and entertainment.

Off the track you’ll find the I Love Bubbles Stage Show, a Fairy Princess, jumping castles, face painting, a petting zoo, pony rides, South Sydney Rabbitohs and much more.

Mayor of Randwick Lindsay Shurey says the Council and the Australian Turf Club are proud to offer a family-friendly day at Royal Randwick free for the community.

"Royal Randwick has a rich history in our area that dates back 150 years. It's a landmark location, attracting visitors to our area and contributing significantly to our local and national economy.

“We are proud to once again be able to offer the community the chance to visit one of Australia’s most famous sporting destinations free of charge.

“We hope the Community Race Day will be a fun event the community can look forward to each year, and that will be a great day out for the whole family,” said Mayor Shurey.
