New playground equipment installed in Malabar Beach’s Cromwell Park will encourage children to explore, push boundaries and fire up their imaginations, Randwick Mayor Noel D’Souza announced today.
“Playgrounds are places of adventure, where kids can discover the world around them and enjoy being outdoors, away from television and iPad screens,” Mayor D’Souza said. “The new equipment we’ve installed allows our little ones to climb, clamber and exercise not just their muscles but their minds as well.”
The play space now includes a mini train, spring ride and spring see saw, infant swing, little house and little jeep, as well as a play panel.
New soft fall rubber has been installed to replace the old and expanded to cover a greater area. The new equipment is suitable for children aged 1 to 5 years.
