Works on the Coogee Beach Promenade are expected to be completed this week after being significantly damaged in the massive storm that hit Coogee Beach in June.

With the original pavers custom made thirty years ago, the replacement pavers had to be specially made from a paver company in Adelaide to ensure an exact match.  Not only does Council now have a pallet of spare pavers ready to go in case of another huge storm, but a special mould of the pavers has been made so the pavers can be ordered quickly if necessary.

The Ross Jones Memorial Pool, which was also damaged in the storm, has been repaired and is open to the public just in time for summer.

After the pavers are installed, the railing will be put up.
