Randwick City is already in the Christmas spirit, with preparations underway for the biggest Christmas celebrations ever, filled with lights, fun and festivities.

Not only will Randwick City see some of its favourite events happening once again, but there will be even more carols to enjoy before the ultimate carolling event, Coogee Carols takes place on Sunday 18 December at Grant Reserve. The event is so popular that the world’s favourite man in a red suit, Santa, will be stopping by to make a special appearance.

Mayor of Randwick, Noel D’Souza, believes the festive season is the perfect time to celebrate our community, coming together to enjoy the summer months and the festive season.

“Randwick City Council looks forward to the Christmas season as it’s a chance to showcase our beautiful Randwick City, spend time with our friends and family and ring in the Christmas spirit at the many fantastic events taking place throughout December.

“From lights, carols to the decorations on Randwick Town Hall, there is so much to explore in our community but it’s also a time to stop and be thankful for the beautiful life we live, right here on Australia’s most beautiful coastline,” said Mayor D’Souza.
