We need an experienced and passionate professional to join the Property and Insurance team in the role of Land & Property Officer.

In this role you will oversee and participate in the management of Council’s commercial, residential, cultural, and recreational property portfolio to ensure that the return on properties is maximised, and that occupation agreements are prepared appropriately.

Your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing external property management organisation
  • Management of Council’s property systems
  • Preparation of leases/licenses
  • Preparation of tender documentation in relation to property matters
  • Planning long-term acquisitions and disposals

You will bring:

  • Extensive property management or leasing experience
  • Ability to interpret and implement legislation and government policies
  • Relationship building skills
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
  • High level computer literacy
