As the Financial Accountant you will support the organisation to meet its objectives through the mitigation of Financial Risk and ensures full transparency over the financial position and performance of Council through two-way education and engagement with stakeholders.

Reporting to the Coordinator Expenditure your duties will involve assisting with a diversity of tasks including Annual Statement preparation, Fixed Asset Register maintenance including revaluations, GST and FBT reporting, financial accounting reconciliations, statutory reporting, and business process improvement special projects.
