Did you know you can access our libraries without walking into the building?

In our busy world, it can be hard to find time to get to the library, which is why some of our library resources can be accessed from your own home.

What you will need to use the mylibrary app on the go or from home
Next steps:

Within the My Account section of the app you can manage your library account such as review and renew items on loan (or checked out) or on hold. You can also link to other library cards you hold such as for the Toy Library or other family members' cards, so you can manage your family’s library membership in one place.

Using the 'Search Catalogue' function with the myLibrary app

You can search our entire library catalogue from the app which includes books, toys, games, ebooks, eaudiobooks, films and magazines.

Accessing ebooks and eaudiobooks on the go

If you’ve found an ebook or eaudiobook you’d like to read or listen to and you are a member of our library, you’ll be able to download and start reading or listening with one click or tap within our app as long as you also have the appropriate resource provider's app installed. The catalogue search within our myLibrary app will prompt you to install the correct resource provider’s app if you don’t already have it installed on your device.

Our library has partnered with a number of ebook and eaudiobook providers – you can find the list here

If you need assistance to download and use our myLibrary app please contact us or call into any of our three library branches and ask any of our friendly library staff to help.
