Do you remember attending gigs at your local surf club or visiting Stone’s Milk Bar for a dance?
Do you have an object or story that reminds you of good times and great tunes?
Do you have any memorabilia or photos from a local Midnight Oil Gig or Little Pattie performing at a surf club?

We would love to see what you have! Take part in our next exhibition focusing on live music venues in the Randwick City area.

The Local Studies team is developing an exhibition for History Week that will focus on the history of music in the local government area. Our suburbs have hosted some excellent live venues over the years including Stone’s Milk Bar, Selina’s and our local Surf Clubs. If you have a connection to these venues, recollections of visiting them or photographs from your days as a rocker we’d love to hear from you. Your contributions will help us tell the story of music and pop culture through the ages in our beachside suburbs.

To express your interest in contributing a story or object, please complete this form and the Local Studies team will be in contact shortly.

Alternatively, contact us by calling 9093 6400 to talk with the Local Studies team.
