2014 marks the 75th anniversary of the NSW Library Act 1939; a landmark legislation that led to the provision of free public library services for the people of NSW.

Help celebrate this milestone in the history of public libraries in NSW, and the valuable and diverse range of services our institutions have offered in their 75 years of evolution.

Randwick City Library is celebrating in the following ways:

Join us for a delicious morning tea at our three library locations

On Monday 3 November between 10.30am – 11.30am, each of our three branches will be hosting a morning tea with celebratory cupcakes. A gold coin donation to the Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation will be greatly appreciated.

The completed wall form a collection of stories to showcase the role libraries play in our community and will be shared on the Randwick City Library website.
