The focus of the park is Kensington Oval that caters for rugby league and cricket. The John Calopedos Memorial Playground and the new Kensington community Centre is within the park. The fenced playground has swings, slides and climbing equipment over softfall and under a shade structure. There is also a basketball hoop and nearby there is a playground and community centre.
