Hiring Rates

Council has two rates for hiring a hall:

  • the Private/Commercial rate is used when it is for a private function or when a group or organisation charges an entry fee or participation charge.
  • the Non-Commercial/Charity rate is for non-commercial groups. Parties claiming non-commercial/charity rate must provide, prior to hire, a Notice of Endorsement for Charity Tax Concessions from the Australian Taxation Office.
  • to become a regular hirer in any one financial year you need to have a minimum of 12 dates to receive the regular hirer rate plus $10m in public liability insurance.
