Marine Parade, Maroubra 2035

Maroubra is best known for its kilometre-long sandy foreshore, good breaks and relaxed beachside vibe. It’s one of Sydney’s most popular surf beaches and was the first declared surfing reserve in NSW. It’s patrolled year-round by Council Lifegards and patrolled during daylight saving months by the Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club and South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club. There’s plenty to do with a playground, skatepark, outdoor gym and large reserves with barbecues and picnic tables. A large, free car park is adjacent to the beach and the Coastal Walkway runs along the beach promenade.
