Features

Please be advised that Little Congwong is within the National Park and is not an officially recognised nude beach. However, Council is aware of occasional reports of nudist activity on the beach.  Those wanting an alternative, family-friendly beach should consider visiting nearby Congwong Beach, Yarra Bay or Frenchmans Bay.

Little Congwong Beach, as its name suggests, is the smaller brother of Congwong Beach. It is a more secluded beach and access is via a short walk continuing past Congwong Beach.

It is a beautiful, calm bay facing Botany Bay.

The beach is accessible from the La Perouse Loop Road. Public toilets, shops and other facilities are located nearby.

No alcohol or glass is permitted on the beach area.

The beach is not patrolled by Lifeguards or lifesavers.

The NSW Office of Environment and Heritage Beachwatch program advises as a general precaution to avoid swimming during and for 24-hours after heavy rain. Stormwater runoff from surrounding streets drain to the beach which may pollute the water.

The beach is managed by the National Parks & Wildlife Service.
