Jenny is a qualified nutritionist, with a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition from Deakin University, and offers nutrition consultations to DRLC visitors and members.
What can you expect from a consultation with Jenny?
- You’ll feel heard. Jenny is a qualified wellness coach as well as a nutritionist. Together you will discuss stress, sleep patterns and exercise habits. From here you will set goals that endeavour to improve these.
- You won’t be asked to stick to a strict, unrealistic diet, restrict or eliminate carbs or, go sugar free. Instead you will experience more freedom in your food choices. Food is morally neutral, neither good nor bad.
- Jenny has a particular interest in child and adolescent nutrition (having raised two boys to teenage years). You will learn not only what to feed your child, but how you can deal with fussy, finicky eaters and children who seem to eat too much or too little.
- You will be accountable. Making change isn’t easy, but you’re more likely to act when you have to report to someone! By setting weekly and 3-monthly goals you will be motivated to stick to them, you’ll notice change much quicker.
