Overview

Community Connect is a stream of the Community Investment Program which supports activities, projects and events which enrich the lives of local residents through enhancing social connection and inclusion.

Community Connect is currently closed to applications. Upcoming dates will be posted here shortly.

See below for further information on eligibility, objectives, and how to apply.

Program provisions

  • Receive up to $10,000 in financial support
  • Receive in-kind support by waiving of Council venue fees
  • Receive a combination of funding and in-kind support

Eligible applicants

  • Not-for-profit organisations
  • Volunteer-based community groups and associations
  • Social enterprises
  • Individuals and sole traders: only when auspiced by an eligible not-for-profit applicant

Stream objectives

The objectives of Community Connect are to:

  • Increase community capacity
  • Increase social cohesion, connection and a sense of belonging
  • Increase volunteering and community participation opportunities
  • Encourage healthy and active lifestyles

Applications & enquiries

Applications are made online during open round dates.

Late applications are not accepted. Applicants are advised to allow plenty of time to complete and submit the online form.
