Maroubra Beach PoM

Randwick City residents are being encouraged to envision how they may like to use Maroubra Beach in the future and provide their thoughts and feedback to help shape the Maroubra Beach Plan of Management and Masterplan.

A Plan of Management (PoM) is the document that helps to guide Council decisions on how community land, such as Maroubra Beach, is used, how it will be managed and the future plans for the area. The Masterplan that will be included in the PoM will provide a guide as to what physically will occur in the future.

The PoM will include Maroubra Beach, Mahon Pool and Jack Vanny Reserve, Arthur Byrne Reserve, Broadarrow Reserve, and John Shore Park.

It will also consider the existing facilities including the Maroubra and South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Clubs, Pavilion Beachfront Café, skate park and children’s playground and outdoor gym.

Residents can provide feedback via an online survey or they can participate in workshop session in person at the Maroubra beachside reserve on Saturday 15 May from 10am to 12pm.
