Residents are being invited to provide comment and feedback on Council’s Public Domain Masterplan for Matraville, which is open for comment until Wednesday 29 September.
“As a resident of or visitor to the area, I want to know what you love about Matraville town centre and how you think it could be changed for the better,” stated Randwick Mayor Danny Said. “This is an important local project and there are a number of ways you can get involved.”
The plan will guide future Council upgrades to help the centre prosper, and to create better places for people to shop, meet and socialise. Currently it includes public domain elements such as new or improved pedestrian and cycle connections, new public spaces, new tree plantings, improved street furniture and footpaths.
Anyone who lives nearby, shops at Matraville or works at Matraville, is invited to get involved. Resident input is critical to help Council understand what's working at Matraville and what can be improved.
To get involved, interested participants can:
- Take the online survey
- Use the interactive map to leave feedback
- Contribute a big idea on the ideas board
- Register for the community workshop to be held online on Monday 20 September at 6pm.
