Belmore Road, at the intersection of Alison Road

Randwick City Council is carrying out essential upgrades to the road surface and footpath on Belmore Road, Randwick, as part of its commitment to improving facilities and services for residents.

Work will take place between 6 – 22 April 2018 between the Alison Road intersection to 49 Belmore Road (adjacent to the Subway restaurant), and will include replacing the concrete road surface with bitumen.

The work will result in an improved streetscape for pedestrians, shoppers and motorists, with new pavers, kerb and gutter.

Road closures will be in place around Belmore Road and Alison Road and buses will be diverted during the works. Residents are advised to follow all signage and plan their journey in advance, finding alternative routes if possible.

Work will take place between 7.00am-5.00pm Monday-Thursday, and will operate continuously throughout each Friday – Sunday period. Residents and business owners are advised that there will be some noisy works, with all noise intrusive operations (such as jack hammering) ceasing by 11.00pm.
