School’s out and the Easter break is firmly upon us, which means opportunities to keep the kids occupied are always welcome. Randwick City Council has got you covered, with an array of activities that will both stimulate and challenge them in a relaxed, safe and informal setting. Check out our top picks:




1. Learn a new skill
Make today the day to learn something new with our fully interactive workshops: 
 
Card making
Looking to send a personalised card, or just fancy getting creative? Card maker Gail Kenward will walk you through this hands-on session every 2nd Monday of the month, until 8 May.
Cost: $4 per card to cover the cost of materials 

Badge making
Join us at Margaret Martin Library to up-cycle used materials into funky badges. This workshop is free but bookings are essential.
When: 19 April, 2pm

3D printing
3D printers are predicted to change the course of production and manufacture as we know it. This interactive workshop will teach the basics of designing your own work using Tinkercad software. Designs made in class will be printed during the week and available for collection.
When: Tuesday 11 April, Lionel Bowen Library, Maroubra, 2pm

2. Lose yourself in a literary wonderland at one of our many book clubs

Book clubs are a great way for kids to learn about different genres, challenge thinking and meet new people.

Our Marine & Coastal program has everything you need for kids to get hands-on with wildlife whilst also learning how to protect and conserve Randwick’s unique coastal environments.
