The family room at Ronald McDonald House in Randwick.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick provides respite from the hospital environment for families with children undergoing treatment. Giving them a place to take a much-needed break, have a cup of tea, shower, check their emails or enjoy home-baked treats in a warm, homely environment – seven days a week.

The room is completely run by kind volunteers who are there to meet and greet families and as well as ensuring the Family Room is kept clean, tidy, warm and welcoming for all our visitors.

Without Volunteers giving up their time every day Ronald McDonald House Charities just couldn’t provide support to those who need it the most and the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Sydney Children’s Hospital are seeking more kind hearts to help.

If you would like more information on how to become a volunteer at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Family Room please get in touch with Ronald McDonald House on: 02 9382 1622 or support@rmhrandwick.org.au
