This week, Council is beginning some minor works on the Gordons Bay sunbathing platform. The works are expected to take two to three weeks, weather dependent, with access to the platform restricted during that time.

The works include removing loose and overhanging rocks and the installation of three buttresses to support an overhanging section of the rock face.

Gordons Bay is a secluded oasis, hidden north of Coogee Beach and south of Clovelly Beach. It can only be accessed via the Coastal Walkway and parking is available at either Coogee or Clovelly Beach.
