Council has honoured the late Martin Joseph “Paddy” Bastic by renaming the Maroubra Pavilion ‘The Paddy Bastic Pavilion’.

Paddy was a well-known local identity who devoted his life to public service and the community. I was privileged to officiate the name change and unveil the dedication plaque in his memory at a ceremony on Thursday 25 February 2016.

This Sunday 6 March, The Spot Festival will see the streets of Randwick swell with crowds and a colourful array of music, live entertainment and exceptionally fine food.

Randwick City’s largest outdoor festival is known for its lively dancefloor and with bands like The Martini Club on offer, you may not be able to resist tapping your feet! Bring your family and friends along to celebrate the last days of summer in one of Randwick’s best restaurant districts. I look forward to seeing you there.
