The Frenchmans Bay Outdoor Gym is now open for use and will be officially opened by Mayor Noel D'Souza on Saturday 14 May 2016 at 10am.

Everyone is welcome to the opening which will include a plaque unveiling, speeches, exercise demonstrations and healthy refreshments.

The state of the art, outdoor gym facility has soft-fall ground covering, powder coated, corrosion resistant metal equipment and paving around the perimeter. 

The equipment caters to all abilities with a focus on low impact exercises, making it perfect for older people or those recovering from injury. 

The gym is also located right next to Frenchmans Bay so a post-exercise swim is always on the cards. 

The Frenchmans Reserve facility is the third outdoor gym in Randwick City after Maroubra and Clovelly with more planned for Kensington and Chifley.
