Randwick Town Hall

Randwick Town Hall was constructed from 1882-1893 and has been an important part of the community ever since. The heritage listed building is the second Council Chambers for the Municipality of Randwick, which originally convened at St Jude’s Church.

Unfortunately, time has taken its toll on this treasured icon of Randwick City. The roof leaks, the wiring and air conditioning are failing and the building does not meet current regulatory codes. Council has approved stage one works as part of the 2015-16 in stages as funding becomes available.

Regardless of what happens with the council amalgamations, Randwick Town Hall will remain in council ownership. These works will ensure the long-term viability of the Hall as an important civic space and essential community resource for the next century.
