Sydney White Ribbon Walk

This month we will again host Sydney’s 5th annual White Ribbon Walk on Wednesday 25 November to raise awareness of the campaign that aims to end male perpetrated violence against women. The campaign has garnered support in 60 countries and looks to men and boys to lead social change.

Randwick City Council is proud to support this wonderful event alongside the NSW Police Eastern Beaches Area command. I believe that with growing community support and a commitment to open communication, we will see positive solutions to this very serious problem.

Please join me and a host of Australian celebrities and politicians with the local police on 25 November at High Cross Park in Randwick from 7:15am, for the walk to Coogee. We will then enjoy a free casual breakfast and an oath ceremony.

Let’s make this year’s walk the biggest yet, and show the world we are taking a stand against domestic violence.
