The Kingsford Noodle Markets will see Meeks Street transformed into a hawker-style food market on Saturday 5 December from 12-9pm.

Lanterns will swing from trees while lion dancers, tarot readers and musicians will entertain revellers as they mingle over tasty offerings served up by Kingsford’s best restaurateurs.

The Randwick City Council event follows the success of the inaugural markets in 2014 which was attended by thousands of people.

Dubbed Sydney’s newest Chinatown, Kingsford’s thriving culinary scene has quickly become an eastern beaches institution and the Noodle Markets is the perfect showcase for the impressive and steadily growing repertoire.

Randwick Mayor Noel D’Souza says the Noodle Markets is a unique and family oriented event.

“It’s the perfect event to bring the family, enjoy some amazing food and entertainment, celebrate our local diversity and support local businesses”, said D’Souza.
