March is an exciting month in Randwick, particularly when it comes to one of my favourite local events - The Spot Festival this Sunday 8 March.

The Spot, in Randwick, will for the eighth year be transformed into a colourful and festive market of food and live entertainment. Road closures on St Pauls Street and Perouse Road will allow for local businesses to take stalls and offer specials on the day. There will be lots of food and market stalls as well as children's activities and a pizza eating competition. Plus, the open-air stage will offer a range of amazing live music throughout the day. Make sure you bring the whole family along to enjoy the fun from 1pm.

Finally, I would like to thank all our residents and ratepayers who recently took part in the Community Survey on Randwick City's future. We will be working hard over the next month to analyse your feedback and are expecting to have a full report on the survey results on the Council agenda in April.
