Mayor's message - Fit for the Future survey

- Council, Mayor's Messages
Now that school has returned for 2015 and many people are back at work after taking a summer break, I think it is timely to remind everyone of the importance of road safety. I am sure we've all noticed the increase of traffic in town centres in recent weeks.
Remember, our roads are shared by a number of different users and it is important that we all act cautiously and consider everyone – passengers, drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and motorists to name a few. Safety must be our first priority so that everyone gets home safely to their families each day.
I would also like to remind residents that February is the month to have your say on council mergers in Randwick City. We've posted every household a survey and an information pack on the future of Randwick City. I encourage all residents and ratepayers aged 18 and over to take the opportunity to voice their opinions, either via the hard copy survey (you can request more copies by calling Council), or by completing it online at www.yoursay.randwick.nsw.gov.au/future
