What a big week it has been in Randwick City. Congratulations once again to the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs for their extraordinary, Premiership win against the Canterbury- Bankstown Bulldogs.

On Thursday, I had the great privilege on behalf of the people of the City of Randwick to present the Rabbitohs with the Key to the City of Randwick, acknowledging their Premiership win and the ongoing community work they do in Randwick City.

We are enormously proud to be associated with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. We have an ongoing partnership with Souths Cares and the work they do within our community, particularly with our young people and the Indigenous community, is to be commended.

They are the pride of Randwick and an inspiration to thousands.

We look forward to further strengthening our relationship with the Rabbitohs when they move their headquarters and training facilities to Heffron Park, Maroubra in the coming years.

Congratulations, once again, to the entire club on a fantastic season.

Glory, glory to South Sydney. Bring on 2015!
