Looking after our environment

Have you got old mobile phones clogging up drawers at your place? Or disused computers, televisions, printers, video recorders or stereos that you don't use anymore?

This electronic waste, or 'e-waste', can contain hazardous substances that can cause harm to the environment while also contributing to the amount of waste we send to landfill.

Randwick City Council is holding a two-week e-waste drop off to help you safely dispose of unwanted or excess e-waste, and give your place a clean out at the same time!

The e-waste clean out collection will be held at Council's Recycling Centre, 72 Perry Street Matraville for two weeks from Saturday 19 May - Friday 1 June during normal operating hours. Please note that the Centre is closed on Sundays.

More information is available online or by calling the Randwick City Council Call Centre on 1300 722 542.
