Randwick City Council will host the annual Bali Memorial Commemoration Ceremony at Dolphins Point, Coogee this Friday 12 October at 10am.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the 2002 Bali bombings where 88 Australians died including 43 from NSW, and 20 from the eastern suburbs – in particular Coogee, Maroubra, Malabar and Matraville.

Hundreds of people, including victims’ families and friends, survivors, and elected representatives of the community, are expected to gather at Dolphins Point to support the friends and families of the victims, and honour the lives of those who died in the bombings.

The northern headland of Coogee Beach is dedicated to all the Bali victims and has become a special place for many of the survivors and the victims’ families.
