If you wish to use a public space within the City of Randwick for filming or still photography, you must apply to Council before any work commences. Complete the Filming and Still Photography Application Form (pdf 186 kb) and return it to Council with the correct application fee (still photography is free). Council's fees are set out in the Pricing Policy and Statement of Fees & Charges 2011-12 (pdf 3 Mb) and are also listed on the application form.

Students will be required to pay the application fee only. A letter on the school's letterhead should be supplied with your application, stating that this is part of a school assignment.

You are advised to read the form carefully and supply the information and diagrams as required. Please note the following:

• All applicants must complete all sections of the application form. Please include a map showing the exact location of your filming.
• If parts of the form are not applicable to your event or activity, you must indicate this in the space provided.
• A copy of the Certificate of Currency to the value of $10 million needs to be attached.

Filming and still photography should be in accordance with the Filming Related Legislation Amendment Act 2008 No. 39.
