Council has a variety of halls and rooms available for hire to the community. These facilities are suitable for a range of activities including meetings and classes, theatre productions and concerts, special events, parties and other private functions. They can be booked on an ongoing or a one-off basis.

- Completion and return of the Hall Hire Application form does not guarantee the availability of the facility.

Pre-payment is required for all bookings. Charges vary, and are listed under each hall.
- The Private/Commercial rate is used when it is for a private function or a group or organisation charges an entry fee or participation charge.
- The Non-Commercial/Charity rate is for non-commercial groups (groups that have no cover charge or just seek donations). Charitable and Cultural organisations can apply for a rebate of 20% off normal charges by making a written application to the General Manager.
- Council functions take priority.
- Hall hire is subject to availability.
- One off rubbish removal fee payable if waste/rubbish is not removed by hirer within hours of hire.
- One off cleaning charge (up to $2,000 as determined by General Manager) is payable if the premises is not left in a clean state.
- Regular hirers will require public liability insurance at a minimum in the sum of $10,000,000.
- A bond charge applies as shown for each hall.
- Jumping Castles/Inflatable Devices are prohibited on Council premises.
