LEP Documents

Copies of submissions

Council has published copies of the submissions it received during the public exhibition of the draft LEP on Yoursayrandwick/LEP

LEP Public exhibition Background/Documents

The Draft LEP comprises two parts - the written instrument (legal drafting), and maps. The written instrument and maps need to be read together to understand what controls apply to a parcel of land in Randwick City.

An explanatory document has also been prepared which provides a clause-by-clause summary of the Draft LEP.

Copies of public exhibition material are still available online at Yoursayrandwick/LEP

The Draft Randwick Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Draft LEP) is the principal legal document for controlling development and guiding planning decisions made by Council. It determines what can be built, where it can be built and what activities can occur on land.

The Draft LEP is a review of our City's current zonings and controls, based on a series of six land use discussion papers addressing all planning issues across the city. The draft LEP has been prepared to meet new State Government guidelines for local planning documents and affects all properties within the Randwick LGA.
