Council is committed to improving access throughout Randwick City, via its extensive footpath and defect programs which identify and address a number of access issues in the local area.
In consultation with the Access Advisory Committee, Council has also conducted extensive streetscape audits in all wards to further enhance access for people with disabilities, older people and frail aged residents. Priority works have been completed in West, South and Central Wards and works are due to be completed in North Ward, according to the scheduled priorities for 2008-2009.
