To report an incidence of graffiti for removal, please contact us.
Graffiti refers to any writing, painting or drawing on either public or private property done without the consent of the owner. Graffiti is illegal and incurs costs to council through removal and prevention measures.
In February 2005 a graffiti audit recorded 4,000 square metres of graffiti in the City of Randwick.
Randwick City Council has developed a graffiti management policy to effectively prevent and manage graffiti. The purpose of the policy is to:
- reduce the incidence of graffiti through education and prosecution
- remove graffiti as quickly as possible as a deterrent and;
- remove graffiti using environmental sustainable methods.
