LaPerouse ReCYCLES

Calling all bicycles!

Are you lying around your garden shed or garage, unloved, unwanted, ready to be recycled and reused again?

Then give Randwick Council a call on 1300 722 542 to organise a free pick-up to be repaired and donated to a local school.

Council's sustainability efforts are aimed at helping everyone in the community to become more sustainable around the home, at school and in the workplace - we can all do something extra to reduce our individual ecological footprint.

La Perouse ReCYCLES

Randwick City Council, together with Sustainable Action Values Everyone (SAVE), run La Perouse reCYCLES - a bicycle repair project at Yarra Bay House where staff and volunteers repair and recycle unwanted bicycles for use in local schools and the community.

If you have an unwanted or unloved bicycle that hasn't been used for some time but still is in good nick and could be repaired for someone else to use, call Randwick Council on 1300 722 542 and we'll arrange a pick-up from your home and deliver it to La Perouse reCYCLES.

Bicycle pick-up times - only during week days between the hours of 7am and 10am. We request owners are at home and we ask you please don't leave bicycles outside the property. Collected bicycles will be assessed for their suitability to be repaired, used for parts or recycling. Bicycles cannot be returned once pick-up has occurred.

This project has been assisted by the NSW Government through its Environmental Trust.
