Native Havens project
Our Bushland Management Team is linking and protecting native flora and fauna on public and private land through Randwick Council's Native Havens program. This education- and incentive-based approach facilitates and promotes the use of native flora in suburban backyards and non-public areas such as schools as a means of attracting, retaining, supporting and creating local fauna habitat.

With a focus on increasing habitat protection and conservation on public and private land, the project is designed to provide advice and support for local residents, schools and community groups to work together to encourage the conservation of local plants and animals in backyards, school yards and other areas.

To find out how you can become a part of the Native Havens project, contact Council's Bushland Management Team on 9399 0683.
