Council regularly holds activities and events throughout the year that help us all become more aware of our unique coastal environment. The coastal activites programs include a range of free and affordable activities aimed at helping families and children of all ages discover for themselves our unique marine and coastal environment:
- January - Randwick's Marine and Coastal Adventure Program
- April - Marine Discovery - Celebrating Biodiversity program as part of the Filthy Art Festival 2012.
Marine Discovery at the Filthy Art Festival (FAF)
provides an opportunity for young people (12 to 24) to actively engage with concepts of sustainability (particularly marine pollution and reducing, reusing and recycling) through the creative arts.
Thursday 19 April 2012 10am to 3pm.
All activities FREE - Maroubra Beach.
Heaps of cool things to do including:
- giant inflatable whale
- marine pavement chalk art with Rudi Kistler

Randwick's Marine and Coastal Adventure Program 10 - 16 & 19 January 2012
Once again, Randwick City Council is running its popular summer activities program along our coast in January 2012. The program includes a range of free and affordable activities aimed at helping families and children of all ages discover for themselves our unique marine and coastal environment.
From snorkelling around Bare Island, sea-kayaking at La Perouse, rockpool rambles at South Maroubra and discovery walks at Fred Hollow's Reserve, Little Bay and Bare Island to adventure boat tours to Cooks Landing at Kamay National Park for a guided history walk.

Conditions
All care has been made in the preparation of Randwick's Marine and Coastal Adventure Program but some changes to the program may occur due to circumstances beyond the control of the Council.
Activities may be cancelled due to insufficient bookings or poor weather.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
