Aims of Randwick City Council community nursery
- To propagate a diverse range of indigenous, native and selected exotic plants that will tolerate the harsh soil and climatic conditions experienced along the eastern suburbs.
- To produce indigenous plants for bushland restoration/regeneration works and habitat creation in the eastern suburbs.
- To promote the use of indigenous plant species in the eastern suburbs.
- To encourage the adoption of 'water wise gardening' throughout the eastern suburbs.
- To raise awareness of biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability initiatives in the community.
