Our vision
A sense of community
Our mission
Working together to enhance our environment, celebrate our heritage and to value and serve our diverse community.
Randwick City Council is made up of four business areas: the Office of the General Manager; Governance and Financial Services; City Planning; City Services.
We are a dynamic and customer focused council which delivers local services and facilities to the highest possible standards. Our aim is to be a leader in local government and in our community.
Our employees are a vital link in this. Their ongoing commitment and hard work is critical in making sure we provide the services which our community needs, and to make the City of Randwick a great place to live in and to visit. We look for people who act with integrity, are customer focused and accountable, treat others with respect and strive for excellence.
Occupational Health and Safety
The NSW Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000 aims to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work. It lays down general requirements which must be met at every place of work in New South Wales. The Act covers employees as well as employers and self-employed people. For more information you can go to the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2000.
Equal Employment Opportunity
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) is about ensuring that workplaces are free from all forms of unlawful discrimination and harassment. This means having workplace rules, policies, practices and behaviours that are fair and do not disadvantage people because they belong to particular groups. For more information you can go to the Anti-discrimination Act 1977.
