Graphic Novel

The Seven Crystal Balls is a great mystery comic! It's about seven members of an expedition who are cursed after entering an Inca's chamber and taking a mummy. The story is well written and keeps you in suspense the whole time. Tintin is a very likeable hero and all the characters are diverse and interesting in their own way. Some of the characters are hilarious because they are so odd while others are laughed at for their stupidity. Professor Calculus is a great example of a character that seems to have absolutely no idea of what's going on and is always talking about something irrelevant. As well as a good storyline, which is always important, the brilliant drawings/ graphics add to this fantastic read! I'm looking forward to seeing how the Adventures of Tintin movie turns out!

Absolutely amazing! :D To the Death Note fans out there: this (sort of) prequel to the series is fantastically mind blowing and written in the true Death Note style. Ever wondered exactly what happened between L & Misora Naomi? Well this book reveals it all! Despite not being written by the creators of Death Note, the plot and characters remain true! Highly recommended! :D
