Membership is CLOSED for 2012

The Big Bang Science Club is a membership-only club aimed at inquisitive young scientists aged 8 - 12 years. Members will be able to experiment, learn and discover through regular interactive and hands on science workshops.

When does the club meet?

The club, which is limited to 30 members, meets once a month on a Thursday from 4.00pm - 5.00pm (end time may vary according to the workshop).

Where are the club meetings held?

All meetings are held at the Malabar Community Hall (next door to the Malabar Community Library), 1203 Anzac Parade, Matraville.

Who runs the workshops?

The club is coordinated by Randwick City Library Service staff, with all workshops and activities presented by professional science providers such as the Children's Discovery Museum, Fizzics Education and Scienza Viva.

How do I join?

Membership to the club is limited to the first 30 people to pay the $50 annual membership fee and submit their membership form. 

Please note that when membership is full, no more bookings can be made.

Forms and payment can be handed in at Bowen, Randwick or Malabar Libraries.

What do I receive when I join?

Each fully paid member will receive a membership badge and club passport. These will be issued to members on the first meeting in February 2012. Your club passport is your portal to winning fantastic prizes which can be won just by attending club activities.
