Babies love books.

Babies love books is an early childhood program open to babies under 2 years old.

We invite you to come along to our drop-in sessions:

Bowen Library Thursdays

(ages 12-24 months)

11:30am to 12 noon
(ages 0 - 12 months)

Randwick Branch Library Fridays

10am to 10:30am
(ages 0 - 12months)

10.45am - 11.15am
(ages 12 - 24 months)

Note: Babies Love Books does not run during school holidays due to the school holiday activities schedule

Aiming to benefit children's early development, we use a combination of:

  • stories
  • action songs
  • instruments
  • rhymes

All sessions of Babies Love Books are free and are limited to 50 children.  Please collect one ticket per child from the front desk. You must be a library member to participate, it's free to join. Please be on time as no tickets are issued once the session has started.

Randwick City Library Service also offers Babies love books sessions in languages other than English.

Spanish Babies love books

Spanish sessions are held for babies under 24 months at the Bowen Library every Tuesday excepting school holidays from 10.30am to 11am.

Turkish Babies love books

Turkish sessions are held for babies and children under 5 years at the Randwick library on the following Mondays from 10.30am to 11.30am:

20 February, 19 March, 30 April, 28 May, 25 June, 23 July, 20 August, 17 September, 29 October, 26 November, 10 December
