Are you interested in volunteering to do something worthwhile, to help other people and be part of your community?

Randwick City Library Service is looking for people to join the new Library Lovers volunteer program.

An average of more than 1,500 people visit Randwick City's libraries each day. The services they use include:

• borrowing books
• borrowing toys
• borrowing CDs and DVDs
• using computers
• accessing language resources
• attending a wide range of fun and educational events.

Volunteers can contribute to a variety of library programs and projects:

• Home Library Service
• Broadband for Seniors tutors
• Literacy Book Club for migrants from non English speaking backgrounds
• English conversation class tutor
• Next Chapter program for seniors
• Other library events
