If the book you need is not available at our libraries, we can request a copy via our interlibrary loans service.
This service enables you to borrow books and other resources from libraries across Australia and the State Library of New South Wales. Items are borrowed and returned at Randwick City Libraries.
Most requests take between two and six weeks, but this may vary. We will contact you by mail, email or phone when the item is ready for pick up.
You are required to fill out a form in person at your library to request a book or fill in an online ILL Request Form. There is a $2.20 administrative fee for interlibrary loans.
If we are unable to obtain the requested item from a public library, we may be able to request it from a university or special library. There is a $13.65 charge for items requested from a special or university library.
