Community bus

Randwick City Council has one 19-seater, wheelchair-accessible bus for the use of library members and non-profit community groups.

It is available for hire, with bus driver on alternate Mondays, Thursdays & Fridays.

Conditions of hire

• Two (2) bus bookings per year
• Fee of $102.00 per day
• Day trips within the metropolitan area
• Day trips outside Sydney within a set distance limit
• Costs of toll roads are the responsibility of person hiring

Library bus

Catch the library bus to Bowen, Margaret Martin Library (formerly the Randwick Branch Library) and Malabar Community Libraries every week. Spend up to an hour browsing.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday, the Randwick Council Community Bus provides a transport service for local residents who have difficulty using other means of transport to visit their local library branch.

Bus schedule

• Tuesday mornings to Malabar Community Library
• Tuesday afternoons to Bowen Library
• Wednesday afternoons to Margaret Martin Library, Randwick (formerly the Randwick Branch Library)

Residents may join the library bus for an annual fee of $15.00 (including GST) per passenger.
