The Eastern Suburbs Business Enterprise Centre (ESBEC) is part of a national initiative to assist in the growth and success of small businesses in Australia.
Business Enterprise Centres are independent, community-based organisations established under a company structure with boards of directors. They provide free and confidential advice and assistance to existing and potential small business owners and operators.
Founded in 1990, ESBEC identifies and delivers an evolving range of services to existing, new and intended businesses. These include:
- provision of training workshops
- business consultancy and advice
- access to business information, both in print and electronically
- networking and numerous other business-related activities.

ESBEC supports businesses in the local government areas of Ashfield, Bankstown, Burwood, Canada Bay, City of Sydney, Leichhardt, Marrickville, Randwick, Strathfield, Waverley and Woollahra.
